Mann Travel Ripoff worst travel agency in Charlotte -Carol Hoffman manager sucks!! Charlotte North Carolina
I went to Mann travel agency to book a combination business trip/vacation.I WENT IN OVER 6 WEEKS AGO FOR A TRIP LEAVING ON 02/24/06 What should have been an easy thing turned out to be a nightmare!!!
Carol Hoffman(my agent)was imposssible to get ahold of.
She charged the airline tickets, euro rail tickets, and hotels to the wrong credit card. When I tried to get her to fix it she would never return my calls. We lost a hotel in Rome because she never got back to me and I wound up booking one myself at a much higher rate.
But the worst was when I showed up at the airport on Friday (24th) they told me that I did not have a ticket.This mental genius reserved a flight charged my AMEX card and never booked the ticket.This was 3 hours before departure.What ensued was 2 1/2 hours of trying to get the airline to reinstate the ticket.The airline wanted me to pay $4000.00 for a one way ticket.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.They are a total rip off
I COMPLAINED TO THE OWNER NO RESPONSE.
