I put a Mannington laminate stone look floor in my basement bathroom 8 years ago.  I love it.  No problems at all.

I put a Mannington Revolutions laminate tile look floor in my kitchen 2 months ago.  Again, no issues.

My problem is the Mannington Revolutions Wood look floor I put in my living room and dining room 2 weeks ago.  It is NOT durable.  Within 2 weeks there are scratches and "scuff" marks.  Not black scuff marks like from shoes but marks where the floor is 'dulled'.  These appear to be coming from ANYTHING that touches the floor.

I had a laminate floor in the dining room and living room for 15 years.  I wanted one that had the look and feel of wood so replaced it with the Mannington Revolutions Wood plank floor.  The floor I took out was purchased at a 2nd hand outlet and was in great shape.  No scratches, no 'scuffs'.  So how come the new expensive flooring can't hold up?

2 days after laying the living room floor I found 2 gouges.  We have checked everything in the living room and cannot figure out what possibly could have done it.

My granddaughter took the plug end of the vacumn cleaner and scratched it across the kitchen floor - no problem, no marks, all is well.  That I might have expected to leave a mark/scratch.  She pulled an EMPTY laundry basket across the dining room floor and there are now 'scuff' marks.  That I did NOT expect to leave any marks.

There are small scratches under every dining room chair!  The same chairs I have had for 10 years! The same chairs I had on the old laminate floor without any scratches!

When I called Mannington their reasoning was that there must have been dirt on the floor and it made the marks.  Really!  I somehow managed to keep my old floor clean for 15 years and the kitchen floor clean for 2 months but I am unable to keep the dining room and living room floor clean for 2 weeks???  This does not even make sense!

To say I am disappointed and very angry that 1 style is what I expect and the other I just want to rip back out is an understatement.  They are both the same brand and series.  Shouldn't they both hold up the same?

I purchased enough to do the grandchildren's play room and am now am scared to lay it because I know it won't last.  My grandson played trains, cars, ride on toys, etc on the old flooring without any issues.  This floor is obviously not going to be able to withstand that kind of EVERYDAY use.  My grandchildren will NOT be able to PLAY or the floor will be ruined.

I have a treadmill in the living room.  I used to run on it on the old flooring.  I am terrified to even get on it on the new flooring so have not been using it.  Now what?  I never exercise again?  This is ridiculous!  My old laminate flooring lasted thru kids, exercise, 4 great danes and 2 pit bulls.  The Mannington apparently can't last thru anything.
