I purchased a Christmas puppy from Angelo Amadio, the owner of Manx Puppies. I sent him a $400 deposit on the 30th of November and then the wired him the $700 on the 20th of December. Christmas and New Years came and went and I still do not have my 2 year old daughters Christmas puppy. I have tried contacting him numerous times. I have sent over 15 e-mails and have called him over 20 times. All of my calls and e-mails go unanswered.

When you are buying he makes several promises, but he does not follow through with them. At this point, I just want a refund so I can get my daughter a puppy. I have requested a refund in my e-mail, but of course he doesn't respond.

Please don't get scammed by this smooth talking salesman like I did.

Manx Puppies Is An Excellent Company This Post Is Attempted Blackmail Puppy Was Never Paid For In Full

#2UPDATE Employee

Sun, January 13, 2008

I do the deliveries for Manx Puppies, LLC. Manx did accept payment subject to reasonable terms and conditions. This client cancelled his first shipment via Delta Airlines on December 23rd. At all times Manx responded to his inquiries. Then storms in the Midwest resulted in Cargo being closed.

The client was aware of this risk when he cancelled his first shipment because he did not want to wait at the airport for his puppy. Manx places the health of its puppies first and has been in breeding and showing since 1981. This is the only complaint you will find online.

I attempted a delivery the third time and again the client cancelled. He told the owner that he had found a puppy elsewhere and or wanted to get a different gift for his child for Christmas. Now I was stuck with a wonderful puppy that had medical paperwork in another persons name and needed to be re-homed. I know for a fact that Manx did reply to the majority of this clients e-mails. He then became unreasonable and refused to follow simple terms and conditions.

And now a false report has been filed against this small and honest company in an attempt to blackmail them for a full refund. The client also failed to submit full payment. No puppy can be shipped unless full payment has been received. He has written this post to blackmail the company into a lower price than agreed. And Manx has suffered hundreds of dollars of damage as a result of this clients cancellation; that I am aware of.

For example they have paid me hundreds of dollars alone in cancelled shipments for this puppy. Other losses including FAA health clearance, pet sitting, and over 40 hours of work communicating with the client to resolve the problem.

Manx Puppies, LLC and Angelo Amadio "one of the owners" are honest and have excellent puppies. I have known Angelo and his business partners for over ten years and trust them. Do not believe the post that they would not communicate and did not send the puppy. They tried.
