We were contacted by one Stephen Kontra on 11/28/2016 that works with Marathon Resource Management Group, LLC located at 9671 Sliding Hill Rd Ashland Va 23005 they hired us to provide Power Washing service at

6550 W. Hillsborouh Ave, Tampa Fl 33634 at the Verizon Call Center Location

We ask for a deposit on our 10,000 service contract to start this job half down and half with in 10 days from our job being completed.

I spoke with only Stephen Kontra as this was the person that contacted me directly to hire us. I asked for only a couple of things before we started. I wanted to make sure the building which was 62000 sq ft would be close at regular business hours so we could complete this assignment in regular hours and I got not answer from him directly on the building being occupied. It wasn't until we arrived at the building to do our service and set up on the job the the building security had told me that the building was open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We generally change 30% more on all service agreements when we have to work thruout the night to cover additional labor expenses. So with that being said his non disclosure costs us a loss of 3,000 on our original agreement.

Second issue address before we started working was the fact that they sent us a 30 page service agreement that stated they would not pay us until there client paid them. I stated at this time before we started that we would need to recover a final payment from them 10 days after the job was finished and Stephen said it wouldn't be an issue. When we regested our final payment to be paid in full Stephen Kontra danced around the issue and ask that we call Cameron in there accounts payable department. SHe was extremely rude on the phone asking if we had signed a contract which is an indication that this is a formallity of there business practice. I told stephen that I wasn't interested in talking with Cameron as she didn't have her facts straight and that he was the one that stated that getting our final payment with in 10 days after the job was finaihed and he said it would be an issue. Well now it's an issue for all of us.

Additional resources on this company can be found at:

We are planing on placing a lien on the 62000 sq ft building owned by verizon very soon as this is alot of money for us at the end of our physical year of 2016.

Please watch out for these guys at this company and don't sign any service agreement before doing work for them. All the best to everyone that takes interest in this story.

Marathon Resource Management Group, only aligns itself with professional company’s that can not only successfully pass our rigorous vetting process but also provide flawless craftsmanship and deliver on these basic fundamentals! Unfortunately, your firm failed and couldn’t deliver on even the most basic deliveriables. Marathon holds all vendors accountable for its mistakes and will never comprise our standards for any reason! Failure and deceit will always have consequences and will always end with the culprit losing. Regards: Use this as a life lesson.......
