Confirming the other complaint about Opticom solutions on this web site. This company promises to switch your phone service from Verizon to another carrier and save you money. In reality, you stay with verizon -- you don't save any money, and the service is even less reliable than it was with Verizon.

They also locked us into a 2 year contract without telling us this up front. Horrible customer support: They do not respond when the phone lines aren't working. We have to work out the problem with Verizon ourselves.

Avoid this company at all costs.

Hi, 


I just came across this posting in a search.  I am currently a customer of Marc Gold and Opticom Solutions.  The level of service and support my company receives from Opticom is above and beyond what I had experienced with my prior telephone carrier (Verizon).  Marc and his team certainly delivered on their promises and in fact did save my company a considerable amount after switching from Verizon.  I am sorry to see this report as my experience has been nothing but the opposite.  I sincerely hope Daniel's issues were addressed but have to strongly disagree with the assessment.
