I regretfully had a free consultation with Marc Grossman today. Although it was free, it was an absolute waste of time... and time is money so it actually cost me.
It went extremely horrible due to the fact that he's a pompass A-hole. If you are looking for someone who truely cares about you and your case, do not hire Marc Grossman. He is just looking for money and not to represent you. He gives you the feeling you are wasting his time. While I know lawyers are high paid and their time is precious, what happend to customer relations?
Everything that people hate about lawyers, he is all of them. There are actually good lawyers out there. I found one by the name of (((competitor's name redacted))). I still would like to visit a few more lawyers before I hire him, but he is my first choice so far. He gave a free phone consult for 40 mins and went in depth on my options, and even gave me advice on things I can do on my own without hiring him.
So back to Marc Gross Man. He was super nice over the phone which is why I thought of him first when I decided to retain a lawyer. However when he met me in person, he was disgustingly rude and offensive. I am a young black female. However when you speak to me over the phone, you cannot tell I am black. I don't know any other reason why he would be so helpful over the phone and so rude in person. Steer clear of this guy.
I think it is the culture at Mr. Grossman's firm because the other lawyer assumed I was a welfare recipient. I am 26 years old with a Bachelor's degree and preparing to buy my first home. On top of that I have plenty of money saved to pay cash upfront for his services, three times over.
sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome. Out of Control Client Trying To Rip Us Off This potential client who brags about being able to retain us three times over with "cash up front" did not just come in for one free consultation but three free consultations. (Note in her report the first 40 minute phone call followed by two different meetings with two different family law lawyers) If we were actually the rude racists she portrays us as, why did she consult with us three times? How is it our allegedly racist firm is one of the most accomplished firms in the Inland Empire with respect to fighting against discrimination? Who is this whistle blowing author? Why her blog post? Why has she not retained counsel? The problem was not us but rather is explained simply by a vision of a very out of control and very angry young woman with a lot of misdirected animosity. Her reasons for the accusation of racism are the same in her blog article as they were in her rant at our office during her last free consultation. The reason for her vile accusation is that she can find no other reason for why I would be rude to her. She thinks so much of herself as to make an accusation of racism believing there is certainly nothing other than the color of her skin that someone might not like or which might cause someone to react to her in a way she feels is rude. I wasn't actually rude to her but she lacks the emotional maturity to not behave impulsively and behaved extremely poorly in my law office when having to confront the realities of family law. This same bad behavior and inability to control her impulses is again demonstrated by her blog post about me. Regarding her false posting, I am 100% certain it will be retracted once the investigation into her accusations are complete as it is entirely false. I have thousands of satisfied clients who can tell you so.
