SCAMMER!

I have been a victim of a romance scammer. Not one I met on a dating site – no, this man I met in real life. Do not fall into the trap of thinking you could never fall victim to a romance scammer.  Anyone can.  This man, in particular, is very clever, convincing, and above all dangerous.  BEWARE!

I am writing my story now because I recently came into contact with other new victims of this same man. He changes his name like clean socks in the morning, therefore I am posting his picture and his date and place of birth. The name on his passport now is Marc Ros Rodriguez, born 1 June 1973 in Lambeth, UK. I also know him under the name Mark Richard George Acklom, but the new victims know him as Dr. Zac Moss, and he uses many other names.

Marc Ros Rodriguez/Dr Zac Moss could well be using another name now.  He is totally unscrupulous, without any moral compass and will do anything to get money from you.  Any amount will do.  He only uses other people’s money.  That might mean you pick up the bill for things, order things for him on the internet, or that you give him money.  It can be any amount, from a few hundred euros to hundreds of thousands.  He will take what he can.  If he offers you a job you will think it sounds wonderful, but, make no mistake, you will not be paid beyond the first month or two, if that.  Many of his victims were left without a cent.

If you become his target he will seemingly lavish love and attention on you.  He will very quickly “fall in love” with you, telling you it is fate and that some things are meant to be.  If you know he is married he will tell you he will leave his wife for you.  If you don’t, he will pretend to be single.  He may tell you that he has never truly loved or been truly loved before.

He pretends to be a workaholic and will indeed be “working” about 20 hours a day. His business deals are plausible and always on a grand scale.  He will tell you about them and you will think he is incredibly clever, because he is!  He will dazzle you with fantastic stories about his life. It will be like nothing you have ever heard before.  Along the way he will paint mental pictures of the life you will have together.  He will tell you he is a multi-millionaire and has luxury properties all over the world.  He will show you photographs of many of them.  Some he may take you to see, perhaps only from the outside.  Do not believe a word he says. The properties are normally for rent and the pictures where all taken from the internet. He owns nothing! The bigger the stakes, the more elaborate his web of deception.

He uses all sorts of mind games to get you totally under his control and is highly manipulative. A judge who sent him to jail for fraud in 1991, even called him a psychopath. 

Remember, if something seems too good to be true it probably is.  Don’t think that because you are “lending” money to a multi-millionaire there is little risk.  As a result of meeting him I lost everything.  The same could happen to you.
