Complaint Review: March Hare Management

My daughter was seen at a local mall and was asked to attend a screening for potential modeling talent. We attended the screening, she was asked to meet with a talent manager, which my husband and I did (they would only take kids with two parents available for better probability of monies available).

We met the proposed talent manager that gave us the run down of their company. They were suppose to make my daughter available for auditions of commercial and print work upon requests from agents. My daughter never received one call. Per their directive, we had to purchase a book (with an alleged value of $895), which included information that located on the Internet and their website.

We didn't have to purchase the book if we knew they had a website that maintained the same info. They directed us to have our daughter attend many workshops for preparation. We did it all, purchased the management book, workshops and gave business to a referral that they gave us for pictures. (They said it was important that we used their photographer this was untrue, we found out later.)

This company never delivered what they promised and took our money and never never returned any of our phone calls. We were unable to received our monies back.
