The house is inhabitable. The owner, Maria Gabriela Caceres dba EAST WEST MC CONSTRUCTIONS LLC, has not acquired a rental certificate from the City of Tampa.
She also travels under the name Gabriela Caceres.
She claims to be a real estate agent. No record can be found. Ms. Caceres she is offering the house on Craigslist for occupancy under a rental or rent-to-own program.
I was informed I would be responsible for all repairs necessary to bring the property up to code because I agreed to lease the house or else she will keep my deposit. I am told the proposed arrangement is in violation of Florida law and local rules. She has done this before. It is her business model.
