Complaint Review: Global Windshield

On 5-30-03, set up appointment with Maria for technician to evaluate leaking rear windshield. She said he would arrive at or between 11 am. Arrived between 12:30 & 12:45. Said windshield needed to be removed in order to reseal it, would have to order another in case it broke. Said she would call in 10 to 15 minutes. She did not.

Called her on Monday, she said she thought I was suppose to call. Set up appointment for Wednesday the 4th at 12 noon. Tech did not show by 1pm and I had to leave for work at 1:30pm. Called Maria and she said she did not know where he was. Set up another appointment for Thursday the 5th for 8:30am-9 am.

Tech again did not show. Called Maria and she said he was on his honeymoon and was supposed to be back. Got State Farm claim agent involved and she said a tech would come to my work place at 2:30pm to replace the glass and would call when they arrived. No sign of this person. Left work at 11pm, appeared some type of work was done-smell of a sealer and tape around window on exterior.

Next day caught in thunderstorm and windshield still leaking. She said they did not replace it but sealed it. Made appt for Monday through State Farm agent to actually replace glass for 8:30am. Tech arrived at 10:30 am and with me watching and insisting replaced leaking windshield.
