Marietta Dodge ripoff swindlers Marietta Georgia
This was the second vehicle I had purchased from Marietta Dodge,Jeep. I was made aware of a program Chrysler had by the salesman. I was told my last two lease payments for the vehicle I was trading in would be taken care of through this program. All was well for a month, then I started receiving threatening letters from Chrysler Financial. Marietta Dodge decided not to send the "Pull Ahead Payments", a total of $524 to Chrysler.
I called repeatedly. I spoke to everyone and anyone who would listen, the sales manager (Ivan), the finance manager (Jeff), I also sent three emails to the GM (S. Brand). I was told twice that it would be taken care of. It is now a ding on my credit report, which I will have to pay off.
Do yourself a favor and don't do business with this dealership.
If you are in the Atlanta area, go to Carmax instead.

Take Them To Court

This is a pure and simple case of 'defamation of character'. They smudged your credit report through their own incompetence. Simply file papers in small claims court seeking the maximum damages posible, around $1500 in most states. Once the dealership receives the summons they will be very motivated to settle with you. I'd go for $500 and clearing the credit blemish within 72 hours. Don't fall for the line that it takes 30-90 days to clear it. Press your position hard.
