Mark Alexander listed a cheap vehicle on craisg list, used a third party site ti secure the transaction thru ebay. Guaranteed shipping at not cost to you. wanted the payment sent thru moneygram . no car out of 1500. he was deploying back to iraq. Great Falls Montana
mark alexander was selling a beautiful car in immaculate condition. at a bargin price. I responded to his add on craigs list. he said he was due to deploy back to iraq and needed to sell the car asap. he told me we would go thru ebay to purchase the vehicle using the ebay protection plan. that guarantees your money back if the transaction is not real. He sent me the shipping information and said thathe will ship the vehicle soon as ebay notified him that payment was received since the payment cleared i have not heard from him.

You can kiss that money good-bye. You have been scammed and there is little if anything you can do about it. There is no ebay protection plan, and its very unfortunate that you fell for this old scam. I wasn't aware that Craigs List and ebay were partners..?? Its a shame you have been had, and you must be more careful in the future.

This is the most basic of Craigslist scams. Lure a greedy individual by offering a car (which doesn't really exist) at well below the market value. Avoid contact by claiming you are far away, but will ship the car for no additional cost (which is absurd. No one does this). Get payment via wire or moneygram (non-traceable). Then disappear.
I suggest that the next time you visit Craigslist, you click on "avoid scams & fraud" tab on the main page.
