I recently contracted with Mark to provide appointments that would result in presentations for annuities. He said his appointments were guaranteed and my money would be refunded if not satisfied. He did not return a signed copy of the contract. EVERY APPOINTMENT was a fraud! Either they were a NO SHOW or wouldn't talk to me. The last appt I went early and the lady was nice and told me about her experience. She indicated she did not agree to see me and told them she wouldn't be around and that she had a financial planner. Another lady told me a similar story. I called several times to talk about this problem with American Marketing Services - Mark Sugarman but was not given any satisfaction. Sarah Sugarman got nasty with me and said she didn't like my attitude. I responded I didn't like being sent out when there was really no appointment thus wasting my time, my money and hurting my reputation. She said she would sent me to the "platinum room" where agents that pay them $100,000 per year receive their services. I told her I didn't believe any of that. I said I wanted my money back and she told me she would have to check my contract. I then told her I intended to file a formal complaint with the Office of Attorney General. These people are clearly ripping off consumers/agents who are trying to make an honest living.

There have been lies and deception and FRAUD. I'm hoping a consumer agency shuts them down and investigates this before more people are harmed.
