Market Source Inc Gina Thompson. Mystery Shopper Scam, Internet
I was contacted by this Gina Thompson lady for a mystery shopper job in my area.I responded a few times with some general info.I received a email from her stating that i would be receiving a package.I was to keep 100.00 dollars for myself and the rest was to be sent money gram to a Nathan Greer in Kansas.I received the package and in it i found a 900.00 dollar money order.I was a little unsure about this so i made several phone calls regarding this money order.Money gram said that is was valid but i was still unsure
so i googled the address and the money order and it was to an Apartment Complex in Texas i spoke to a lasy there that said she didnt know any Gina Thompson so then i emailed her with the name of the company and thats when she told me it was Market Source from Texas.Much to my suprise there was no such thing so i contacted Federal Trade Comminsion and they advised that it sounded like a scam to them and told me to contact my local authorites and thats just what i did....So dont fall for this its a SCAM....If its to good to be true then more than likely it is....

Market Source is a legitimate company. Unfortunately, MANY MS companes' names are use for these check cashing and money transfer scams. Did the initial email come from a legitimate Market Source email address? It's bad enough the companies names are being used fraudulently. But don't accuse them of being rip offs - they are victims as well.
