Complaint Review: Marketing Pros 4 u Davell Banks

Back in april of 2018 .I had saw an add on the internet for the company Market pros 4 u they were comming to my home town looking for business owners to have there business display at the Sage Diner .I called the number and spoke to a lady by the name of Angie she had told me to meet her at the Diner .So i proceeded to do so .I had met her in April 2018 she told me how great it was i can have my small business display on the diner tables so i can attract more business .At first i was so happy i told he how much would it cost she told me so i said ok sounds great.Also she had said that i would get 500 business cards sent to my house also a free diner at the diner for everyone who signed up for this.I was also promise that i would also be on social media they were going to advertise my business for me so i could get more business .It sounded so great at first.The second meeting with Angie at the diner took place a week later we set up to meet there i gave her a check for haft of the amount.She had said in 30 days the balance was due. Also she had said that my business cards will be sent out afert i pay the remaining balance i said ok.I went and payed her on the second visit got a receipt for taxes.She had said you will be getting your package in 30 days after i gave her the remaining balance i said great.Well this is where it gets not so great.I called her in May she had said oh u did not get u package yet everyones was sent out a week ago .I said no i did not get anything in the mail at all.

I called her back a week after that she said i see what the hold up is i will call you back ok.At that point i was getting kinda mad .I had open my business in may of 2018 no business cards to pass out or to give to customers so they can pass them out for me to expand my business.June i called her no answer i left a message no return call.I tried to call her again no answer she never returned my calls.Then i called Marketing pros all i got was a stupid recording i left messages no response at all.I went to the diner and spoke to the mananger there she said i an not sure what is going on i was getting very upset.I said to her i came into u diner met these people Davell was at the first meeting with Angie sorry i did say this when i was writing .I said to the mananger what inthe world is going on here .All she had said was the owner of the diner was trying to get ahold of Davell Banks to see what was taking so long to get the tables done in in his diner.Lets see june went by July went by and August went by no business cards at all was sent to my adress.I am not getting no help at the diner they seem like they no nothing at all.The mananger did say that the owners daughter did also place and add for her business she also payed to .From what i was told she is also out of money also .I asked the mananger at the diner did she no anyone else that came in the diner to meet with Davell or Angie she had said a cad dealership she did not no the person who came in.So i did some homework on on the company

.I first stated with the Better Business Buero Iwent and filled a complaint with them on Aug 1 they had told me its takes about 30 days for a response .They made 2 attempts to contact them no answer at all .My complaint was not answered at all.They could not get intouch with them.So then i called the dealership that also placed an add with them got ahold of the mananger there told him who i was .He had said you need to tak to my coworker Vaugh he was the one who placed the add and gave them the money i said ok.I called the next day and spoke to Vaugh he had said he gave them a check then he said something did not seem rite.So he called Davell and told him he was pulling out of the deal.Davell gave him a runaround on the phone Vaugh had said he was going to get a lawyer write away if he did not get his money back I guess Davell got worried. Vaugh did ssay he got his money back.Vaugh did call Davell for me we were on a 3 way phone he did said who i was and i wanted a refund ,I told Davell i wanted my money back he had said he could not at first i signed a contract.

I told himi loss business all summer because of no adverisement i was promise.Davell said call me back when we all hang up the phone together.It was Sep 11 this phone call took place Davell said i will only send u 250 dollars back .I said no i want all of my money back all summer long i had lost business .He kept saying we are going to do the tables soon .Really this has been since April 2018 .I said what is the hold up he could not give me and strait answer.He did say i will reinburse you 250 dollars that all i can give u back then he said i will put the check in the mail tomorrow ok.Well it is Sep 21 2018 no check at all.I am so upset about all of this i wish someone out there can help me .I cant afford a lawyer to get justice.He needs to be stopped .I also spoke to other people from acouple of other state who no of .Other people like me had gotten ripped ripped off by him also.They promise this and that makes it sound so good .All i can said i got taken .If i never get my money back thats ok.But this man needs to be stopped and justice needs to be served.Thank you for reading this .
