Marketing360.com Livewire, others. They scammed me for $2500

They promised that they will set up ads and increase sales with retargetted advertisement. They say they will just fix up your front page of the website. Then they have a 15 minute meeting every week to "gather information" like colors and keywords.

After the 6th week, it was ridiculous, they did absolutley nothing, not even a mock up of the front page, not an advertisement, not even an SEO article. NADA, I fired them, so they insisted on having a meeting by calling me repeatedly 10 times.  Then they didn't want me to videotape the meeting on my phone, but I did it anyway, live of Facebook. They said they needed more time to develop the website.  I said they were not hired to redo my website. And where is the mockup if they were working on a website?

They showed me at the 11th hour, a mock up of a site that you want to throw up of how bad it is.  I sell dolls, and there was a big purple square with nothing in the middle, and the pictures of the dolls were terrible and very very small. No sales pitch, no content (which they promised), no mobile platform, nothing. It was so pathetic I told them right there it was the worst website design I had ever seen.

When I confronted them with terrible reviews on Trust Pilot that had been posted a week ago, they just shrugged their shoulders and said everyone has bad reviews.  But they have thousands of clients.  I asked for a list of their clients and the good reviews.  I could not find any.  They insisted they are a big company with 600 employees.  I asked for proof.  They said what kind of proof.  I said you know, a tax form?  They didn't have it.

So after all of this, and me yelling at the top of my lungs, because they helped themselves automatically to another $1200 from my credit card, they demanded another $2300.  I told them to go suck a (((REDACTED))).  They were still asking for another $2300, believe it or not never having delivered absolutely anything

Since they charged me the day before the meeting and they claimed that part of the money I paid for advertising would be "rolled over to the next month", I asked for a refund, but they haven't replied.

The only way to get these scammers off your back is to toally cancel your credit card. Not just get a new number, you need to get a new one, because they will get their money even if you block the card. They are total scammers.  Trustpilot has a ton of bad reviews and Yelp has many more.

Yes, I was a fool. But sometimes, you just fall for these scams. They are very very slick.

I was wrong about Marketing 360. They are actually honest, it seems.

Well, I was very surprised that Marketing 360 apologized and is actually sending me a refund. I am glad. The fact is, my business was totally wrong for their model and we all recognized it.

There are people that are happy with their service, I just wasn't one of them because my business is so unique. I am awaiting their refund.
