Marketingsoftsolutions hijacked my PC posing as virus protection. It informed me that it had found 19 viruses and I needed to purchase their virus protection to reclaim use of my PC. My on-line virus protection (McAfee) did not detect it, nor could I start it or any other program until I purchased their software.
Much like everyone else that has complained, I was told I would get a follow-up e-mail and didn't, and their virus icon disappeared as soon as my PC was cleaned up. Who are these people and why aren't virus protection programs not detecting this intrusion???
