My wife De Anna and I attempted to purchase a 2008 Lexus RX 350 from Markosian Auto on Saturday, November 23, 2014.

We were intorduced to sales associate Fred Hughes and sales manager John ""Cowboy" no last name was ever given.

We were upfront and honest with them about our being in an active Chapter 13 and in the process of petitioning the standing Chapter 13 Trustee for approval to incur new debt.

As of this writing, we are still waiting for approval for the petititon..

Since that day we have been texted, called and emailed and hounded on a daily basis!

They tried to get us to agree to  a lease ion the aforementioned vehicle!

They said they could offer in-house financing and wanted to install GPS in the aforemention vehicle.

This would allow them to disable said vehicle AT WILL and WITHOUT cause!

This has been nothing but a headache for us from day one!

We are returning the vehicle this afternoon and will most likely have to sue them for our down-payment of $5000.00 cash that we paid to them on the day of the sale!

Obviously, you less than 'perfect credit'

So your options are limited. Nothing at all to do with the dealer, its you all the way.

The reason that lenders require a GPS is because this is a high risk loan.

You have a history of NOT paying your bills.

What a GPS device does is allow the lender to find your car when you don't make your payments.

Turning the car off is a last resort for a lender.

It is not, as you say, used AT WILL and WITHOUT CAUSE.

What do you think? A guy gets bored one day and says 'hey! lets have some fun and turn off DeAnnas car?

Doesn't work that way.

Repair your credit, and you won't need a GPS. But don't come here and complain and try to make the dealer look bad because you have credit issues.

I would NEVER loan money to someone in a Chapter 13 EVER. 13's can be converted to a 7 in a heartbeat.

Count your lucky stars that someone will lend you money at all.
