Marks flooring agreed to install 630sq ft of a terra cotta style tile. The tiles were were not mixed from the different boxes to make the tile colors blend together as they are suppose to. They also chipped corners off of tiles and laid them in the middle of the living room anyway. The grout used was black in color, the grout turned out very grey and white all over because they didn't clean the thinset off of the tile and used the same bucket for mixing the black grout that was used for mixing the grey thinset. The grout lines were all to low, there were chunks in the grout , and there were large holes and pits throughout the grout lines. This was quoted to me as a 3 day job. The installers then asked my wife for payment even thought the grout was wet and she couldn't do a walk through. There was also a grout haze that masked the many mistakes. One of the installers was suppose to return the same day to look at the floor but never showed. I called him and he showed up the next night at 9:30pm to touch up the work. I told him it needs more than a touch up. He agreed with all of the problems and said his partner had used tiles from a different lot of tile, this made the already poorly blended tile floor look worse. The next morning I got an message telling me it was all bad materials, and not they're fault. After agreeing to remove the tile he turned around and refused. He wanted to put a high gloss sealer on the floor to see if it would make the floor blend. I refused and told him if I wanted a high gloss floor I would have bought high gloss tile. He agreed to remove the tile several times and then refused again each time. He even told me I can't prove I made payment, even though several times via txt message he agreed to give partial refund. The owner Mark also tried to tell me several times that he is not the person that's been texting me, even though all the messages were from the same number, which is the advertised number of Marks Floor Covering. Each time he would message me and say" ok, this time it's really me". This guy is a liar and a thief.. steer clear of him. As a customer of Marks Floor covering, I'm browsing through these complaints and photos, and i'm very shocked as to why there is a complaint on this company with false pictures off of Google images. I looked up the same pictures and tiles along with product they supposedly used, and found a few hundred including the pictures the complainant uploaded. This goes to show how people can be falsifying anyone's work. I've had similar work installed from Mark's crew and I completely disagree. This crew was awesome and applied not only hard work but friendly as well.

A compliment was filled on me Marks Floor Covering I didn't do the job I referred a contractor the contractor said customer had tile and grout put up over a year Saltillo brown tile with black grout look that up on Google images they don't look so great. He's is not polished it's dry I offered to help polish floor he refused he wanted out I'm thinking he didn't like the color the dye lot was off he had a whole different picture in mind.

I am the owner of Marks Floor Covering I only referred a contractor to him his tile and grout had been sitting in his garage over a year Saltillo brown tile black grout look up others on Google images. They don't look so good I did offer to help cause I referred the contractor I told him it needed to be polished as you see on pictures his is dry and chalky he said if I wanted a shiney floor I would bought a shiny tile. I could made his job more prestable but he wanted all the tile busted up and out if I didn't know better I just thought they vissioned a different look once they seen a finish job on a fairly new home it didn't match at all. Again I take no money up front. And I'd appreciate if you look pictures up on Google keep in mind those are polished his is not. Thank you. And God bless.

I was called out to this job in Kingville I then stated that I kno of a contractor so I loan him my van and tools phone ect. As I was out of town. I only offer to help cause that's what I do is help people but I wasn't willing to tear out all the tile and leave him on slab. I was told by him the tile had been bout over a year ago. There is no contract or invoice of me getting any payment I wasn't never there.
