Buyer beware!!! This restaurant is wildly inconsistent in terms of quality, massive wait times, and borderline abusive customer service. Well documented evidence in both Google and Yelp reviews of rude customer service. Here are some  direct customer quotes:

"I waited way too long and paid way too much for food that tasted very bad. The beef patties tasted like they had been frozen for 6 months and then reheated in an oven"

"We tried to explain that we had a totally different experience the last time we were there, and Marla told us that we were "calling her a liar" (???). When we stated we were going to leave, Marla threatened to call the police! So... We happily paid $60 to put that nightmare behind us. BUYER BEWARE!!!"

"Overall, the service was terrible and the food was disappointing. Will NEVER go back."

"the gentleman at the restaurant started harassing me with a threat to call the police"

"Rude staff, overpriced americanized "carribean" food. Waited forever, did not received what was originally ordered, when I tried to voice my concern Marla accused me of calling her a liar?"

"Serving spoiled shrimp in curry roti is a safety and department of health concern"

"...Add a healthy dose of attitude--arrogance and downright indifference--from the waitress, and I'd say this was the worst meal out I've had in 25 years"

"The owner, Marla, proclaimed that "this is her house and she makes the rules". So, no questions, no dialogue, just leave or she will call the cops."

"I ended up paying full price for that spoonful of gray fish skin, tomatoes, onions, and green peppers."
