Complaint Review: Marlo Furniture

Purchased 3 rooms of bedroom furniture at one time based on a financing promotional. Marlo could not delivery all the furniture at one time -- not in stock, damage, etc. Furniture was delivered on three separate dates, had to constantly call to find out when rest of furniture would be delivered. Got calls from Marlo for delivery dates and then subsequent calls that it wouldn't happen -- mix up in warehouse, damage to furniture, etc.

After getting date and time I was told the second delivery would happen between 9-12 am. Marlo's delivery truck shows up at front door @ 7:15 am in morning! I was so aggrevated by the early deliver that I quickly signed receipt of goods not carefully expecting order. Needless to say a chest was damaged and this surely had to be seen by someone in warehouse.

After all the aggrevation of the second delivery we tried calling Marlo to cancel the rest of furniture and was told by an employee that the rest of furniture was in warehouse and ready for delivery and she didn't know why it didn't go out with our second delivery. The worst part of this scenario is that all the furniture was purchased at one time based on a no-interest charge promotional.

Needless to say when I received my bill from Marlo, only the first delivery of furniture was placed under the "promotiional" and because the second and third delivery of furniture came after the "promotional" date it accrued interest. I based my purchased on the promotional and bought all the furniture at one time. It was not the consumer's fault that Marlo's promises but cannot deliver. Caveat emptor when dealing with Marlo. There are far too many furniture companies with better customer service and delivery service.
