I went in to Marlos in Alexandra on 14 Apr 06 to buy some furniture. I ended up selecting a ids bedroom setanda living room set. The order was put in and I was told by the sales man that he ould contact me in 2 weeks to let me know once everything was received at the warehouse.

Today is 3 Jul 06 and I have yet to receive a phone call from anyone at Marlos and have yet to receive everything thatI ordered. The kids bedroom set was there when we first inquired about 2 weeks after the order since we never received a call from them so we have picked that up. We have been given about 5 different datesfor when the living room set would be in and we are still waiting with the date now being around the 15-20 Jul 06.

I went into the store yesterday and spoke with a manager which was pretty much useless. I was told that once all the furniture came in and I accepted it then she would give a 10% voucher tat I could use on a future purchae.

I dont understand how she thinks this is justified compensation for someone who has been waiting over 2 1/2 mths for furniture. Why would I want to buy anything else from them.

So here I sit waiting on furniture which will have taken over 3 months after this next promised arrival date. I guess I will see what happens. If anybody knows how I can get some assistance please let me know.
