Complaint Review: Marmike Property Manament

We moved into a property managed by Marmike property management. We moved in on March 29. Before we moved in we were assured things would be fixed and taken care of in a timely manner. We did our pre-move in walk thru and found many issues. We were asured that the issues would be taken care of. We moved in and the same day the air conditioner broke and took six days to fix. The dryer has broken three times and each time has not been fixed properly. The refriderator was broken when we moved in and took two weeks to fix. They do not fix things in a timely manner nor do they maintain there property.

Also upon renting the property we were never informed that the property was for sale. We were lied to and mislead. We only found out the property was for sale when we were contacted by the agent to show the property. Which mean if the unit is sold while we live there we could have to look for another property. Why would anyone in there right mind rent a property that is being sold. This is not something we would do because I am 7 monthes pregnant.

Upon moving in we found out the property was infested with roaches, We were seeing roaches in every room in the house they were on the ceilings, crawling up the walls on the carpets. They sent two handymen who did not speak english to spray. They brought with them ortho max from home depot to spray into our home. Also did I mention that I am 7 monthes pregnant. The men they sent were not licensed exterminatiors. We had to call our own exterminators and to date we still hae roaches because the infestation was so extreme.

Dealing with makmike has been extrememly hard as no one there speaks clear english. They are not interested in doing what is right. They are a horrible company that has no ehtics and treat people horribly.
