This company is another arm of the fraud called the Morth American Prize Pool. We received a letter with an authentic-looking check for $1,870.88 that was supposed to be a portion of the $30,000 we won to be used for $1,600 in taxes on the winnings. There were several grammatical and punctuation errors in the letter which made it suspicious and it was from Canada, which we do not visit nor do we ever play the lottery--even in our own state.

After doing some research on the internet, we found out that the business that is actually located at the physical address on the letterhead is an alcohol and drug center and this fake company was actuall using a similar looking logo to the real company. The bank the check was issued from is an actual bank.

We are planning to contact both the real company and the bank and let them know that their businesses are being used for this fraud. What a stinky thing to do! Good thing we aren't elderly and are able to figure out the fraudulant nature of this attempt to get us to cash a bogus check and send these idiots cash. Apparently this is just the latest in this group's attempt to bilk people all over the country.
