Mike Failed to warranty the engine tried blaming it on back pressure, the motor was professionally installed and no back pressure was present as the company claims. They want to charge me $140.00. They should pay me 140.00 for all the trouble they have caused me. I would never buy another one of these 350 long block Chevys from Marshall. They will go out at 15,000 miles.

The Parts store that I purchased the motor at removed them from their list of distributors because of them failing to stand behind the engines they sell. I have yet to get this issue resolved.

My thought on this report is we are not getting the whole story and just what he wants up to know I use marshall engines all the time and am VERY happy to recomend them to customes at my machine shop.

I have seen so called professional installers screw up things and then tell a customer that its a defective engine. This complain it so veague it hurts ,there is no detail on what was damaged? Back pressure in the exhaust system will damage the valve train and cause excessive blow by which will contamanate oil causing damage to the bottom end. I have seen exhaust systems blocked by bent pipes or converter was clogged so bad the exhaust manifolds cracked due to heat build up. What was the 140.00 for? Was it shipping to send your repaired engine back ? I have installed several engines just like this and several of these engines have over 100,000 miles on them and are running fine. What was the companys name that you bought the Marshall engine from, bet the still sell them.

Again I feel this report is a c**k n bull story .I am not saying Marshall engines is perfect by any means but I have 30 years of experance in engine rebuilding and have great sucess with thier products
