For all to know, several of us who deliver food to the elderly(Meals on Wheels) encountered the most arrogant and incensitive individual from Martel Air
Conditioning and Heating. His name is Mike and he stated he is the boss and owner of the company.

As we were waiting for food to be prepared for delivery at the Ramona Care Facility in El Monte he approached us and were told we had to move our cars (3 in all) immediately because he had a crane coming to lift an air
conditioner.

We explained to him it would be only 10 minutes and then we would be out of his way. He then told us very rudely that we had to move immediately, that he had paid alot of money for the crane. We explained again that it would be only 10 minutes and we would leave. The crane had not even arrived. Even the workers from the home tried to explain to him that we were all volunteers and the elderly needed their food. He said he didn't care.

About two minutes before we were to leave, the crane arrived and Mike told him to park behind us so we could not get out, that we had not moved when he told us to so we would have to wait an hour until he was finished. The crane operator finally convinced he to let us out so we
could begin the food deliveries.

In the future I hope all that is reading this will not us the services of his company. He certainly doesn't have any respect for those that are in need.
