Like a previous poster I too have had the same experience.

As an online trader,  I was keen to increase margins, and when I lookes at this site and saw neatly stacked and wrapped palettes, full to the brim of boxes, in my mind they looked reasonable, they were low cost, but then if they were ex catalogue, or returned items, then you do expect them to be, and when they describe the nature of the goods and the circumstances of the returns, it still seems worth it... I knew it was cut price right.. and I knew that they were not going to be perfect, I did expect the odd item that may have had to be chucked, and I expected some battered boxes maybe etc..  but I did also reasonably expect that the goods woudl meet the minimum legal standard and be fit for purpose and capable of being sold on at some price!!! ..., but oh my gosh, NOTHING prepared me for what I got.... In all good concsience I could not even donate these to charity!!

Nothing that I received was useable or even fixable or redeemable...

What was delivered was NOT a palette, it was a big cardboard box, with a load of battered boxes and broken bits and pieces thrown in, most of which were not in boxes, and while there were some boxes, to be fair... a number of these were actually EMPTY!

I do not believe that these are conventional RETURNS... most of these items are COMPLETELY USELESS and not at all fit for purpose... e.g. pram which was missing 2 wheels... completely GONE! remote control toys, with no remote.... scooters with no handles... a chargeable large cart with NO CHARGER.. also the Cart, and all of the scooters, apart from being in bits and missing parts... were clearly EXTENSIVELY USED... used to such a degree (dirty, scrapped, wheels worn down.. paint scrapped off and stickers ripped or missing) that NO WAY THESE WERE RETAIL RETURNS! What shop refunds a customer (who walks into their shop a year later after they have basically worn out an item from extensive use) gives a refund.. NONE!

It is more likely that these particular items were plucked from a trash can or skip... there is no way that a retailer would sell this to ANYONE... not least because of the risk of harm that could be caused to a child using them..many of the items I received would not be considered even remotely SAFE.

I also got a Candy Floss machine, that was still full of encrusted sugar!!!

It beggars belief.... AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

What is worse though, is that when you do approach the seller, they (He) will not entertain any kinds of complaint and will not take return of the goods and refund.. this is spite of the fact that none of the items are fit for purpose or of sell-able quality, and also he ignores the customers right to a 'cooling off period' pursuant to the relevant customer rights laws.

I am forced now to pursue this under section 75 of the Consumer Credit act...

But in the meantime I see it as my mission to inform people and warn people that you WILL NOT BE GETTING WHAT YOU THINK YOU ARE PAYING FOR.
