THE MARTIN CORPORATION - MY GIRLFRIEND WAS PROMISED A JOB AFTER A PHONE INTERVIEW. SHE FAXED REPORTS TO THEM DAILY AND WAS CALLED EVERY MORNING WITH TASKS AND DROVE AROUND AND DID THEM.

SHE WAS PERSUADED TO GET AN ACCOUNT WITH THEIR BANK SO THEY CAN DIRECT DEPOSIT MONEY AND I ADVISED HER IT WAS NOT SMART TO GIVE OUT HER ACCOUNT INFO TO SOMEONE SHE DIDNT EVEN KNOW. THEY SINCE QUIT CALLING AND SHE NOW QUIT HER JOB OF TWO YEARS AND I HAVE HUGE BILLS TO COVER I HOPE SOMEONE CAN FIND SOMETHING OUT ABOUT WHO THIS COMPANY IS I'D LIKE TO TALK TO THEM...

Martin Corporation or Ian Martin Corp.

It seems that I have also been duped by some scammers using the name Martin Corporation or Ian Martin. Ian Martin may be a legitimate staffing company but the people who offered me employment seem to be using the name and record of a major corporation to scam job seekers.

I answered an add for a courier position - light deliveries, car or bike, $11.80 an hour plus benefits. A call 1 week later informed me that my resume was selected and that I was to visit a website with a job description and agreement form. The contract seemed ok and I checked out the company thouroughly before sending them my info. I thought it was legit. What I did not consider at that point was that the website was a complete probably a completely forged copy of the real Ian Martin site.

They called me in the morning with various tasks to perform such as looking for office space and picking up air bills from Airborne Express. I had given them my account information for payment purposes. They wired money into my account and had me send money to somebody else. They gave me money to cover my faxing expenses and wiring. I removed my personal money from the account until I could determine whether or not this business was legit.

My account was then hit with a fraudulent check. It seems they took my info and created a check with my name and bank info and forged it through. Needless to say they are not calling me anymore and all I really have on them is a fax number, a few names, and Las Vegas.

This is a very elaborate scam and I have not figured the whole thing out yet. I could be fighting for my identity.
