I met Marty Upfall threw craigslist. I posted a ring i had and he contacted me telling me that he paid more than anyone else. He asked how much I had so he could make sure she had the money.
so I drove all the way to know Mr. Upfall. after arriving at the hotel and going through all of the gold which totaled 1758 dollars. Marty then tells me and my fiance that he does not have cash. We can do this one of two ways. He can write us a check or we can meet him at the refinery in the morning and he will have cash. So he wrote a check with a commitment to meet me first thing in the morning at the refinery in Southfield which there isn't even a refinery in Southfield.
so again I drove 29 mile and Greenfield where he told me to meet him. I had more gold with me for him to look at. It turns out those pieces were not real. So at this time he informs me that the refinery has not processed the gold yet. he tells me not to cash the check because there was an issue with the bank. And he will have my money by 6 o'clock that evening. At this time he gave me $500 cash what's left im only me $1258.
at 6 o'clock that evening I text him I called him several times. He did call me back at about eight and told me he was running late he would be to my house by 10 o'clock. I said that's fine as long as it was by 11 because I had people waiting on me. I text him my address and when I heard nothing 11 o'clock I called him. He made 15 different excuses why he could not meet me. But to meet him at 5 o'clock the following morning. Which is this morning. June 18th 2014.
I have called this man a minimum of 25 times today. And yes I have left some hateful messages. I do not like being ripped off for 1200 dollars. This man cost me a visit with my goddaughter and I have not see you in 20 years. He knew I had plans this morning I was picking up my goddaughter in Indiana and taking her to Cedar Point. Marty is a crook he's a liar its a scam don't trust him. His checks are no good and he is no good. I am waiting to file charges against this man now. I have my written receipt from his company and the worthless check.

Hi James Im also a victimi of Martin Upfalls pathetic scams. He wrote me a bad check and almost go tmy ring, luckily I intercepted the parcel and had the police involved.

I was just victimized by Marty Upfall on November 24, 2014. He stole a substantial amount of money (in jewelry) from me. I am looking from other victims of Marty Upfall to please contact me asap. latest update on this man. Two more victims found because of this ad and now he has called and threatened me. He has my address and I would like to introduce him to my shepherd's. He keeps flagging this so he is reading it. Come on by and I will introduce you to my dogs. Now more about this thief.

Marty Upfall contacted me through this website about a ring I was selling. He offers a lot more a gram then stores to get your business. Then he rips you off avoid your calls and writes checks that bounce higher than any Super Bowl ever will. The man is a thief a lowlife and an all around piece of s**t. he stole the last chance a single mother of three had for paying her debt and getting back on her feet. Or at least getting her out of a huge hole. This man has no heart no conscience no morals at all. Beware do not trust this man. Thief thief thief thief thief thief thief. I posted another ad about this man yesterday and five minutes later heard from another victim in Farmington Hills. This man is scum. if anybody recognize this man please email me and tell me your story. I am taking all of this to the police tomorrow and his probation officer. Yes he's already on probation. He doesn't tell you that as he's talking all business like.

I posted a picture of this Marty Upfall on Craigslist and what he did. Within 5 minutes another victim called me. Gave her this guy's probation number and I have all her information to give to the detective on Monday. This guy is just a piece of work. Can't wait to see how many more people comment on this thief. I cannot wait to see this man in prison. Do not deal with this man he is a liar a thief and a piece of s***.
if he can do this to a single mother of 3 with no other choice but to sell the last of her gold to pay her rent and bills stuff but she can never replace even out of a fire and this man does not deserve his freedom.

it has been 5 days since marty took my gold and promise me payment. He has contacted me everyday to say he would pay me that day. Then he won't respond won't answer and just acts like this problem does not exist. I have all the text messages between me and Mr. Upfall where he has repeatedly promised payment of the 1285 dollars that you still owes.
we are waiting to hear back from his probation officer. Left her a message on Friday and hoping to be able to get in and see her first thing Monday morning. going out to Nova tomorrow or first thing Monday to file my police report and charges against Mr upfall. everytime we have went to file he can text us to stay payment will be made within the next two to three hours. Rather have the money and see Mr up fall in prison. But he has no intentions of ever paying so I am going to do my best to use this man locked up.
DO NOT TRUST MARTY UPFALL. he is a crook a liar and just a low life individual. He has completely disrupted our lives by stealing this cold from us. By repeatedly promising payment. The check bounced of course we knew it would. After all the excuses and him asking us repeatedly not to cash it. This man is a crook he talks a good game but in the end he is nothing but a lowlife criminal.
