This is not going to be the regular Rip Off Report. I am so far past being angry and mad. I am hurt and extremely saddened.
I had been paying my HOA fees regularly for a year. I stopped making payments to the HOA for approx 6 months. I just very rude letter from Mary Bolchalk saying that if I didn't make up for the fees within 15 days that she would kick me out of my house. I cannot pay all of the fees within 15 days. I have a sick mother that lives with me and 3 young children. I sent a payment proposal to her, but she declined my request.
I'm not sure I can go on living this way.
It just isn't worth it.
Mary Bolchalk of Adept Management, Las Vegas. You are a rude and evil woman. Why wouldn't you accept my payment plan and allow me to pay my bill in a matter that was suitable with me. Sure, I owe your firm money. But I can only do was much as I can do. I can do nothing more than my best.

You have to understand how a Management Company works. The Management Company by themselves have no authority. The Management Company works for and on behalf of the Board of Directors of your association. The Board of Directors give the orders to the Management Company...You have a b***h start there!!! Don't blame the Management Company for your incompetence or because the board told them to send you to collection for NOT PAYING YOUR DUES!!!
Grow up and get responsible!!! We all have hardships but that does not give us the OK to ignore our obligations! Good Grief!

It is not Adept Management's decision to work with homeowners or not. THe decision is the Board of Directors to make.
You would not have been given a 15 day notice and then told you were going to get kicked out of your home. It does not work that way. Management companies send out 15 day notices to pay dues, if you do not pay; they will work with you UNLESS you are in a habit of paying late, going to collections etc. In which case the Board's have a hard time working with homeowners like this. This is what is recommended to the Boards, from there it is up to them.
Besides that, if you are 6 months in arrears, you are probably in collections already.
Also, you don't owe Adept money; you owe the Association you live in money.
