Complaint Review: Mary C. Sharp

On Saturday night between 6 and 7 pm, Mary Sharp R.N. a neighbor of mine, came over to help me because I was ill. She helped me move my duragesic patch, it is a prescription medication pain patch that keeps a narcotic constantly in my system to prevent horrible pain due to serious Degenerative Disc Disease.

While she was here, she asked to use our bathroom. No big thing. She has asked in the past, used it and no problem. Stayed and talked for a bit then left. Around 3am, I awoke in horrible pain.

My husband got up to get me my pain pills for this "break thru" pain, Lorcet Plus. He asked if I had taken any of these, I said no, it was a brand new bottle. He said we had a serious problem, 32 of 90 were missing.

Only 3 people have been in my apartment since this was filled the prior Tuesday evening, my husband, myself and Mary. My husband had to ask me 3 times which pills were my pain pills, leaves him out for taking them. Me, I did not need them.

Mary, she had told me on Monday that week she was out of this medication and was seeing a specific unnamed doctor on Wednesday in hopes to get a refill. He refused to give her any further narcotics. She would have to wait to see a pain management specialist.

My husband called her at 3am. She and her husband are up until 3-4 am every night. She immediately claimed she did not take the meds. He gave her 10 minutes to get meds here or police were being called. No response. Police called took information from us then met with her. She produced a bottle of the medication from the doctor she had seen on Wednesday dated May of 2004 saying she hardly ever needed it, LIE!!!!!!!!!!!

Police are contacting doctor who will back up story, and she will end up in jail. Looking back, since this woman and her husband moved into our complex back in February of this year I have seen her either messed up on drugs or a state of major confusion a dozen or more times, some so serious I have had to go up to her and say "do you know who I am and where you are?"

I have been lied to so many times I can't even count. Why I even gave her the benefit of doubt I don't know, I guess I like to see the good in people and hope to help them and best as I can.

She claimed her husband was abusive to her after knowing of my ex husband's past with me. She knew how to pull on my heart strings.

The night of the theft she knew to keep my eyes and thoughts on my duragesic patch, talking about it, saying that it was good that I had enough of it with my doctor out of town, etc.

I think she knew that I suspected her of drug addiction and I would check after she left to see if I had all my pain patches. Little did I know she would steal my pain meds for break through pain.

Eventually, she will move away from here, just like she has from Maryland and Herndon, Virginia.

People beware of Mary C. Sharp. She is a liar, thief and now from what I am learning from police and other very reliable sources, doctors mainly, she is a narcotic drug addict and do what she will to get the drugs she needs.

Someone who was her friend but no longer.
