We bought 3 chihuahuas from Mary Goodwin. The day she was suppossed to send the dogs she said she was late. She blamed it on the airlines. She then had the "balls" to tell us she would send them when she got the chance. We had spent $1300. I am in the Army and I do not make a lot of money. They were for my kids and wife. After arguing with her for almost a week she said she woul send them on a Monday. The original date was the previous Monday. On the Saturday before she said her Aunt wanted to keep one of the dogs because her husband had just died. We were upset and told her no we wanted the dog. She said she would refund us $300 for the dog not being sent. We wanted our money back altogether. She said she would only give us 650 back. I told her she must be crazy if she was going to keep half of the money for her screw up and changing of the plans. We decided to just take the 300 and the 2 dogs.
Well it has been a month now and still no money. Also she never sent us the CKC registration papers that they were suppossed to have. The dogs were extremely skinny and they ate so much food the first week. It was apparent she didn't take care of the dogs. Well the saga continues. She now says they were her Aunt's dogs and she would of refunded our money but her Aunt does not want. too. Well we spoke with the Aunt and she says that Mary is lying. They are all in on the scam. The Aunt is telling us she only got 700 from Mary and did not even know that we sent 1300. Mary is saying it is her Aunt who will not refund the money.
Also, the other dog supposedly died. But, her Aunt says the dog never died and Mary is hiding it from her. I am currently seeking legal advice on how to file a small claims suit in Missouri. It has been one lie after another. If you want to getted ripped off by someone then I suggest you call her for some skinny, sick dogs. If you do not then avoid her like the plague. She will drive you crazy. I know that her intention was too never send the dogs at all.

Once again the lies are continuing. THe website that was posted earlier on 12/25/2005 has been changed since my post. It is now
http://www.tinypups4u.com/. It is her and she knows it. The original website was working as of 12/25/2005. It is pretty obvious she is reading this and changing the name after the fact. Also the contact name and email have changed. In addition, if she were too read the last post we made it is pretty clear she sent us the money back. That is not the point. It shouldn't take 1 1/2 months tobe refunded the money. Keep playing your games and have fun with it. Also the dogs were stated as being hers and she only changed the story after all of this began too happen. I do have the story straight. The only reason she sent us the money back was because she wanted too know who the person was that was asking us for information. She told us she would only send us the money back if we told her who it was that was saying this about her. Last time I checked it was OUR MONEY and she owed it too us. This is the last email that she sent us on 12/28/2005 from her old email address little_baby_1984@yahoo.com:

As I said before she was still posting our dogs for sale on several websites and even responded to an inquiry about our dogs from our sister-in-law. We had already paid her the money and she somehow missed the original flight to send them. She is a liar and if you buy any dogs from her you will see what I am talking about. If you are reading this and are contemplating buying a dog from her, think twice. How would you feel if someone told you they would send the dogs on a certain date and then they missed the flight. Then she told you she would send them when she gets a chance. We had already paid for them and it was her job too send them. Then she changes the deal after she has already cashed the payment. After providing pressure to send the dogs she finally sends them. Then she admits through saved email that she will give us our money back. It takes over 1.5 months for us too get our money back. She claims not too have any money, however, she sure as hell spent our money rather quickly. She will drive you crazy and make up crap about you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BUYING DOGS FROM HER. She also is under investigation fro the state of Missouri for welfare fraud. She says she is not on welfare, but I was contacted by someone from the state about sending him all of the email exchanges between us. He is legitimate and working on assembling a case against her. You do the math. This will be the last time I post anything on here about her. I am done with this person and have no more time too waste on her. I dont know why these people are doing this. It took me a while to send there money back becuase i was trying to get it back from my aunt. I did not taking there calls. Who wants to talk to someone that is going to do nothing but yell at you. This lady has been pushy and bossy from day one. I have phone records when she called me at 1am, then she would send me emails calling me very bad names. so i got very tired of dealing with her.
They are right what they done with them is there business what they do with the dog. but when they lie and say they wanted them for there familey no they did not. they only wanted them to buy and resell. when is fine but they should not lie about it.

However, she still has to finish paying all of the money back. It still does not make the situation right. It has been over a month since the refund should have gotten here. Complete the refund and this will be over. The money should have been refunded a long time ago and until it is complete, I will not let this go. This is a update to the rebuttal by Mary. We spoke yesterday after I emailed her and told her about filing a rip off report. She told us it was her aunt playing games with us and that she was going to send us payments to refund us our 300 dollars. We spoke to the Aunt and she claimed it was Mary who was ripping us off. Mary said that we probably did not talk to the Aunt, but rather the daughter. I do not know who to believe but either way it is really frustrating. We have no way of knowing who is telling the truth or if it is really her Aunt. Well, after we got off the phone she apparently responded to the rip off report. We spent a month trying to get this money back and had no luck whatsoever. We would call her and she would not answer the phone. After the rip off report was filed she immediately called us and tried to work it out. However, her rebuttal is untrue. We never called her during all hours of the night. We attempted to speak with her in a civilized manner. She was the one being rude too us in email exchanges. The only time we were rude was the last email that was sent. I had enough of the lies and was frustrated. In addition, what we do with the dogs is our business. We were fed up with the whole thing and knew the refund was not going to come. We decided the only way to make our money back was to sell one of the dogs. The only reason she found out was another lady called about the registration papers. We gave her Mary's number and explained to her the situation. We had waited over a month and still no papaers. You shouldn't advertise papers if you do not possess them at the time of the sale. It is just bad business. We gave her every chance too work this out. I personally have better things too do then post things about people that are untrue. We just want the money back and to go our separate ways. I made that clear for the last month. In addition, after we had sent her the money the dogs that we purchased were still on several websites (puppyfind, nextday pets and her own website)for sale. We contacted her and told her to remove them from these sites. She told us it was an accident and that she would do this. We even had a friend respond to the ads and she emailed back explaining that they were for sale. This was the last straw for us. Another note worth mentioning is about the lateness of the dogs. As explained earlier in the first post, she missed her flight to send the dogs. She was extremely nonchalant about when she would get them too us. We had to constantly email her too make her commit to a set time. It was exactly one week later. Like I have stated previously the dogs were skinny. They appeared to us to be under-nourished. This is not a lie. Her explanation was the vet would never her have let them fly. Well that is true. However, the check-up would have been at least a week earlier. A lot can happen in a week. To conclude, it is none our her business what we do with our dogs. We paid for them and can do what we want with them. This is just her way of trying to compensate for her devious behavior. I work hard for a living and have served overseas in Operation Enduring Freedom. I have no intention of depriving an individual of their right to make money. I explained that too her on the phone last night and agreed to update this post upon receiving the money. When the money is paid in full I will share that information. However, it is not fair what she has done to my family and hopefully this will convince her too change her ways.
