Complaint Review: MARY HERNANDEZ DOG WALKER SCAM

BEWARE OF MARY HERNANDEZ YOUNG HISPANIC DOG WALKER!!! She is young Hispanic female age 19 who befriends you and then will steal your dog. Her number is 310-384-7083- She walks dogs in the miracle mile area.

Mary Hernandez had been coming to walk our Maltese puppy for the last 4 months. We gave her our keys to our home. We THOUGHT that she could be trusted and was coming as agreed, yet this WAS NOT THE CASE. First we caught her with a hidden camera taking the dog outside before he had shots. She was not supposed to take him outside and when she was confronted she admitted he had gone outside then she apologized. We gave her another chance. Then on 3/4/13 at 3pm she called me at work and said " I lost your dog"!! I immediately asked her where she was and she was at 1158 w 6th st los angeles 90044. This was supposedly her sisters house in SOUTH CENTRAL LA!! The dog was NEVER SUPPOSED TO LEAVE OUR HOME. That morning she had sent a video with the dog to my girlfriend about how much fun they were having. This was a LIE! Then she took the dog to the ghetto over 30 minutes away. She claims she was on her computer on a porch and the dog disappeared. We immediately went to 1158 w 6th st los angeles 90044 and had the police inspect the home hung up flyers everywhere and let her know we were going to file a lawsuit. I KNEW that she had taken the dog and he was not lost but we could not prove it. We continued to look and then we gave up and went home. As soon as we were home she called and said "I have your dog. A bum had it and a lady brought it to me" We didn't ask any questions and went and got our dog. When we picked it up it was clean, happy and not hungry. The dog had never been outside. SHE HAD LIED- We also talked with neighbors and they said the dog had been there everyday for several days. She would send us pictures and say she was at our house when she was never there. And she STILL claims that yesterday was the first time she had taken the dog there when over 15 witnesses say otherwise. Then 3/5/13 a number called claiming that they has found the dog with a bum matching her FAKE story in an attempt to get a reward and we reversed looked up the number and it was a landline to HER HOME- WARN OTHERS THIS IS CLEAR SHE ATTEMPTED TO TAKE OUR DOG TO SELL!!she did not think that we would do everything that we did and obviously she realized that we were the wrong people to mess with. MARY HERNANDEZ DO NOT TRUST DOG WALKER!!!
