Complaint Review: Mary Holleran Enrique Perez

I saw an ad on Kijiji.com where the seller had listed a 2006 Suzuki GSXR 1000 for $2900. I emailed the seller stating that I was interested in purchasing the motorcycle. The seller said all that was needed was our name and address and that the information would be forwarded to ebay motors. Once I gave the seller the information I received an invoice from ebay motors via email. On the invoice were the transaction details. I followed the payment transaction that was specified on the email from ebay motors. I sent a moneygram in the amount of $2000.00 to the ebay agent by the name of Enrique Perez. The seller sent me an email stating that ebay confirmed the payment and he/she will ship the motorcycle to me. The following day I received another email from ebay motors requesting an additional $1280.00 for shipping insurance. I then starting questioning the whole deal and to my surprise I was just scammed out of $2000.00. Throughout the whole process I believed to be dealing with ebay motors and it actually is someone portraying to be ebay. I do belive that ebay should be responsible in refunding me my money because myself as a buyer was not aware that I was not actually dealing through ebay as this person is portraying to be them. I f you happen to come across an ad for 2006 Suzuki or someone saying that they acquired the bike through a divorce please know that it is a SCAM.
