I would expect them to close your account online, if it was a subscription service. IMHO, this would include closing your account with their website wouldn't it? You really didn't explain how long you had had your subscription, the "owner" of the site says you requested a refund of your 6 month subscription. But, if you truly weren't happy with the site, I would think they would be able to refund at least a prorated share of the subscription, I.E. the part you HADN'T used (months). To keep the whole part, just because they believe you lied, is just bad customer service in my opinion. What difference does it make if you lied about the reason, if it was at the beginning of the subscription. Now, if it were at the end of the 6 months, well then, there's another side to the story. If you lied to get your refund and you had indeed used the site for the 6 months, then you probably aren't entitled to the refund.
