The PCA staff, Patient Care Assistants have no formal training and falsify vital signs on reports of patients. No PCA is trained to do respirations or take manual blood pressure. They use a machine which gives wrong readings sometimes. A PCA wrote my respirations was 10. No PCA was ever taught how to count respirations. I would be dead with a 10 respirations. These are not trained medical staff taking vitals and some don't even have high school diplomas. The staff told me, they just make up vitals since they are not STNAs or Medical Assistants. When someone is hurt or dies there look at all the medical records and handwritten vital sheets that do not have true readings. These are not real patient care assistants, there is a class that is required after the nurse aide course to be a real PCA. This place is a joke and it's only a matter of time that someone will get hurt there by untrained staff. The Director of Nursing sent out a all caps email on January 2018 demanding PCAs do all vitals but refuses to train on how to do vitals, no one can do respirations unless he/she learned in some other setting. This place will blame staff for their inefficient business practices.
