I recently purchased a Lincoln Navigator from Dynamic Imports in Jan 2013. The car was lowered and the breaks weren't in good condition so my husband had them see what was wrong with the car. Jason, a salesman, said he would let Bob's mechanic of 20+ years look at the vehicle from bumper to bumper and let us know if there were any other issues.

Turns out Jason says the breaks master cylinder had to be replaced and all four shocks but that They would cover the cost. They took a $780 deposit from my husband and traded in his truck for $3000 towards the Lincoln for a total price of $8700. It took us a whole day to work out a deal because Bob kept leaving us to help other people. We decided that I would purchase the vehicle cash for $10500 total cash instead of financing with ridiculous fees and I am to payoff the car in full March 1. He added on the $1500 for the cost of him replacing all 4 shocks as he kept repeating. he also assured us the car had no other major issues and his mechanic of 20 years changed the oil, master cylinder and all 4 shocks. He also assured us there were no other issues with the car.

Three days later my husband is driving to drop off my daughter at school and the car starts shaking horribly. He took the car to three places and they all said the check engine light was tampered with and turned off. we take the car to a mechanic and he tells us there was only one shock that was replaced, not four. He also stated that no oil change was done as we were told. Also the sensors were causing the car to shake. We paid $200 to the mechanic for fixing the shaking and changing the oil.

I called to tell Bob all my findings and he said he never said he changed all four shocks and kept denying anything he ever said. Of course it was all verbal but he kept saying he would give me a receipt of all the work done on the car to justify the $1500 charge. Now he says he doesn't need to give me a receipt and he never said those things. This man is a liar along with Jason who refused to give me my deposit back when I tried to cancel purchasing the vehicle because I didn't want to pay the outrageous fees. That was why we resulted in the cash deal.

Bob and Jason has lied about the repairs done and lied about the vehicle having any other issues. They are unethical and took advantage of me and my husband. It's clear we are not mechanics and they misled us to believe a full inspection was done and specific repairs were made. It only took three days for the car to break down after driving off the lit and the only thing they could say was "it was working fine when it was here."
