The State of Massachusetts, Is requiring all Massachusetts public school students to take and pass, both the Math and English portions of the stardardized state MCAS tests. You need to get a score of at least 220 in both math and english in order to pass.

I only got a 208 in math, and a 212 in english, I am much better in english. A passing grade of 220 is required in order to graduate and recieve a high school diploma. You cannot recieve a high school diploma in the state of Massachusetts unless you pass the entire MCAS test. I don't think it's fair to require all Massachusetts students to take and pass at 220, to recieve a diploma and be denied graduation from high school, expecialy if it is below a student ability to do so.

Even Massachusetts Students with Learning disabilities are also required to pass at 220 as a graduation requirement, or any kind of disability have the same rules as students without disabilities. This deffinantly isn't fair one bit. Exspecialy because I have a learning disability and still haven't passed.
