Complaint Review: Massage Envy Oceanside NY

 I signed up for a monthly membership with massage envy 2-1/2 years ago. Tried to cancel it over a year ago when I realized that I had 9!!! Massages accumulated that I didn't use! I called them 4 times to 'make sure' that it was definitely cancelled because they kept telling me they would 'extend my time' to use up the massages. They assured me all 4 times that it was cancelled. I recently just discovered now (because I stupidly did not check my credit bill for a few months) that after 10 months!!!!! Of NOT CHARGING me they started charging me again. They have now charged me for another 5 months of service that I didn't want. They are claiming that I signed a contract that stated I must fill out cancellation paperwork. Yhey are also offering NO EXPLANATIONS as to why their staff told me 4!!!!!!! Times it was cancelled! I am calling all of the local media stations . They literally JUST SETTLED A HUGE LAWSUIT for doing exactly this! Then need to be stopped. I have now been charged for 14 massages that I will never use. That's approximately $900! I will e taking them to small claims court as well but I now have to find time in my 65 hour work week to do so. They need to be stopped!
