This individual deserves special mention as a smooth talker but honesty, and business ethics are not so forthcoming. He has no business being in construction services, or trying to manipulate the trade using trade peoples knowledge to further himself with total disregard for anyone else.
He will have you sign a subcontractor agreement then work you as a hourly employee taking no employment information at all except your name.When the time comes to pay for services rendered by the hour he will call you a thief by stating you have over-inflated your hours, and will need to investigate them. He then states ( If you don't like it you can take me to small claims court) then continuously being put off with excuses hoping you'll go away.
Obviously a handshake, and your word mean nothing today for some people. Keep away from this guy it will certainly end badly! After trying to collect what was owed to me for three months now I feel this note is in order alone with Small Claims Court.

I'm not sure who this is as they didn't leave their name or any kind of contact information to take responsibility of their actions.
Just for the record, this is a forum for the consumers, not business to business complaints. If you are a business complaing about another business, we have other places to do this. Don't cry to the world, because they don't care. Do good business and good things will happen.
I do have an idea who it is and to the best of my knowledge it's a contractor who I fired from a job who had quoted me a price to install a kitchen for 1800.00 which should have taken 2 to 2.5 days to do.
Even though most contractors would have taken 1 to 2 days for a kitchen as small as this. Unfortunately it took him 7 days and he tried to charge me and my customer far more than he promissed.
Nice try. It's obvious you've done this before to other and now your upset because you dindn't get away with it this time with me. There are many more issues with the workmanship and now have to deal with fixing his mess. Funny, your nowhere to be found.
As for this Ripoff Reporting System. This was meant for consumers who have been ripped off by businesses. He is a contractor, not a consumer. If he has any issues with my company, i'm welcoming him to come forward and deal with me as a business person and stop hiding behind the world wide web.
I have been in business for over 40 years and I'm not perfect but I do stand behind my work and will do anything I can to make a customer happy as you will see in other website reviews. I have won the Contractor award at Home Stars for number one contractor in South Western Ontario of 2013.
If this guy was ripped off, how does he think my customer feels of the sloppy and unprofessional job he did. All I have to say in closing to this contractor and any other contractor who thinks they can get away with charging what ever they want and take the clients money before they run and hide is, if you want to work with a company who will not let the contractor rip you off, then call me and I'll take good care of you too. I'm not allowed to put names, numbers or addresses in, but this guy alread did it for me. Thanks to him now you can find me.
Remember, Good Customers make Good Contractors. Bad Contractors don't deserve Good Customers either. If you need work done, i'm happy to provide you with a full list of happy clients and business partners who I've worked with for many years. I've not been in business this long for nothing. If you got this far with my message, i'm sure you've figured it all out by now. All the best to honest contractors and happy hunting for the consumers. I hope you both find good people. Do your homework.
