Mastermind Mortgage - Brandon Reis - AJ ripoff lied to us pulled our credit report when we already had our scores and then used a different reporting company for our scores Burnsville Minnesota
They contacted us to help us refinace. We explained to them over the phone we had bad credit and we already had our scores. They pulled our credit report anyway then went ahead and used a different reporting company to go off of for our scores. They should pull anyones credit report unless they are absolutely sure they can help them.
They screwed up our credit score by doing an inquiry and then they tell us they can't help us. Brandon is the person we dealt with and he told us one day that there were a few lenders that might work and then we recieve a letter in the mail stating that they can't help us after Brandon told us there was some in mind.

Nice try. but no lender would ever be able to evaulate your creditworthiness without pulling credit

Sorry, but no lender would ever be able to evaulate your creditworthiness without pulling credit. Whether you knew your scores or not is immaterial; no competent underwriter would accept the applicant's self-reported scores.
Your loan officer told you he could help because he stands no chance of making a commission if he turns you away. In addition, federal law (ECOA) discourages lenders from turning away "marginal" applicants.
I wish you luck in getting financing, but you can't expect any lender to play by your rules.
