Match.com is a HUGE Ripoff!! Internet

Just another, like all the other, ripoffs from match.com. They just keep billing and billing and billing. Automatic responses to emails, no-one to contact and they're hoping us poor singles will just let it go because it is just too much hassle to go through for the small membership fee, AND, of course, the hope that someone maybe could pop up.

I don't think so! I'm sure there is a class action suit here, though I personally don't know anyone who has had this problem, but I have read of many such instances on the web!

Now dealing with the Credit Card Company to credit me.
Good luck!

*****Thanks for contacting us.

We have received your request for a refund.

When you select "subscribe," your credit card is charged immediately and, unless
you resign, your subscription is automatically renewed after your initial
subscription period is complete.

At this time, we apologize for any inconvenience, but we do not offer partial or
full refunds on subscriptions. However, your account has been resigned, and you
will retain full access of the site until 08/30/2006.

Our system does not reflect a prior resignation on your account. If, however, you can provide a confirmation number for your previous resignation, we will gladly issue a one-time courtesy refund on your account. For further query, please feel free to contact us.
We will be glad to assist you.

this is the next email I recieved. notice the subscription expire date they sent me and the rebill they did before they sent the next email.

***** we're truly sorry to see you go.
We hope you've been successful in your search for a match. Rest assured that your account will NOT be automatically renewed. Once your subscription expires on 1/24/2006, you will no longer receive the benefits of a Match.com subscriber. Under no circumstances should your account be charged after your subscription expires.

You can reactivate your account at any time prior to your account expiring on 8/30/2006.

I am currently filing a dipute with my credit company, and may take legal action against them!

I used to have an account with Match.com.
I actually met several interesting ladies on the site.

And when I deleted my subscription they stopped charging my card.

They must have changed in two years.

Good Luck in getting things straight.
