I had not accessed any of the Match Recommendations for most of last year. They were discontinued on September 14, 2019. I assumed that terminated our relationship.
I don't pay much attention to my PayPal account, unless problems arise, so only noticed the automated payments to Match.com on May 27, 2020.
I contacted Match, spent a half hour or so with an agent, ('JC'), who reversed the latest charge, (per email advice from Paypal), had me on hold for a half hour, and finally told me to expect a call from a higher authority.
Call received from 'Hans', who promptly reversed another, second, US$80.97 payment, but refused to refund any of the 2019 overpayments! (I've not audited my records, but think I can prove at least two or three quarters devoid of correspondance between me and any of Match's offerings, (Not counting the prostitutes, assorted predators.)
In summary, if there is a Class Action Suit or other Consumer Fraud Action happening, please can I be your Poster Boy?
These parasites, through Pattern & Practice, demonstrate a predatory nature, have pocketed unknown millions, fraudently; deserving of severe criminal and civil tort punishment from some enterprising lawyer and/or prosecutor.
Thanks for any actions you might care to take!
