Matt Crowe AHHHA Inc. Fraudulent rental scam involving CL and Airbnb Internet
Matt Crowe of the CROWE construction company family in Minneapolis is around 30 years old with sandy/reddish colored hair.
He alledglly ran a company in MN called Huckleberry Ventures which was a bust and ripped investors, supplier and staff off. I found a twitter site called MattCroweLiar which has a lot of information. Matt Crowe also had a fake company in SF called Tru Solutions.
2012 and 2013 he is renting a residential unit in Palo Alto and claiming it to be his business address for AHHHA Inc. This is a fake office set up in a cold garage. The scope of his company called AHHHA.com seems nearly identical to Huckleberry Ventures.
Matt Crowe re-rents the studio apartment to travelers on Airbnb and on Craigslist at twice the cost, pocketing the difference, or perhaps all of it if investors are paying his office rent. I am investigating the legalities.
I would strongly urge not to do any business transaction with Matt Crowe. He is a chronic liar. He often uses fake travel plans to manipulate people. His lies are often transparent as soon as they have served their use to him. He does not appear care that this makes him unaccountable to his word. He has no inclination to make good, he is only looking for the best opportunity to make off with others assets.

I have met Matt Crowe, actually spenT all day with him at Beir Garden in San Fransisco. In regards to the above report, Matt put his ghetto studio on Airbnb and CL because he's going broke. He is still working on a second round of funding. His company was close to running out of money and it was a last ditch effort to drum up some cash. He tried to rent his place to make a profit. In regards to other Rip off reports on him, yes, he is pretty much a con man. But in reality, he's trying to convince himself he will be successful as much as other people. Matt has had 1 successful company in his life, a law mowing company. What qualified him to make the jump from mowing to venture capitalist will never be known. He wants to roll like a rock star with no real college education, skills, or useful experience. HE is only out for himself and lacks compassion for other people. He spends his free time eatting and chasing girls. Whoever was foolish enough to invest in his company deserves the bulk of it to have been spent on his Audi, the expensive dinners, and luxary hotels he used to stay at until funding dried up. I doubt his company will last thru the year. His father owns Crowe Construction in MN.
