Complaint Review: MATT'S CADDY SHACK MATT

MATT'S CADDY SHACK MATT ripoff, I PAID 5,000 FOR WORK ON MY CADDY AND EVERYTHING BROKE DOWN IN 1 MONTH. SOME PARTS NEVER REPLACED. WILL NOT FIX. ALSO DE LA FUENTA CADILLAC SAYS MATT ASK'S THEM HOW TO FIX CARS!! HE HAS NO CLUE WHAT HE IS DOING!! WOMEN HE WILL RIP YOU OFF I HAVE 10 PEOPLE THAT SAY THE SAME THING El Cajon California

Matt is a jerk! I came to him because I was ripped of from a dealear and I guess he saw money.
He say's he fixed my ac, dog bones, starter, sway bar rodes, oil change, alignment.

but when evrything started barking i went to a caddilac dealer they said nothing was replaced only dog bones. He is full of it and wont replace anything and claims I waited to long and he only warranties for 30 days. wtf is that? I will get it fixed if iI have to sue his cheating azz.

We have been using Matt's Caddy Shack for 15 years.  He has done all the service work on all of our cars and trucks.  That includes 4 Caddies, 1 Chevy S-10, 1 Ford Ranger, and a Ford 500.  There has never been a time that he didn't fully stand behind his work.  He is more knowledgeable about Caddies than any dealer service manager I have ever dealt with, and at 62 I have had a lot of different cars and dealt with too many dealer service managers, none of them can hold a candle to Matt.

In addition to the great job Matt's shop does, I go there because in the world of auto mechanics there a very few that you can trust, very few.  Matt is one of those rare auto repair guys.  You get what you pay for in life and with Matt what you are paying for is honesty, integraty, quality work, a fair price and a man that stands behind his work and his word.

I do not have to worry about having my wife being taken advantage of if she takes one of our cars in, because that is just not the way Matt or his employees work.  When there is nothing wrong or there is nothing that needs to be done, Matt tells you so and you go home feeling really glad you didn't take the car to some guy that is going to get money out of you for something because you are there.

And lastly, if your car is at the point where the cost of repair does not make sense based on the value of the car, Matt is going to tell you, because that's what he does.  He won't let you simply waste money on a car when the money would be better spent on a new one, or in my case a used one.  

I won't ever buy new again, then I am stuck with a dealer's service manager, warranty issues and inflated prices for all the little things service managers can always find that need repair and are not "covered."  Give me a 4-5 year old used car that Matt has checked out for me.  (Yea he does that too.)  I save money all the way around.  No deprciation, a used car I know is what I am looking for and the peace of mind that when it needs to be serviced or repaired it will be done right by a professional that I can trust at a very fair price.

Ken , I can see that you are clearly obsessed with my ripoff report posts. if your had any sense you'd realize that my posts are appropriate for ripoff report and that I already have my writings on other blogs. It seems my writing has severely knocked you off balance. It's always nice to have one's writings appreciated but you are obsessed with me and after dozens of rebuttals to all of my postings you are surely cyber stalking. I thought I knew a little about cars, but...guess not.



BTW, it's Cadillac....NOT caddilac...check the hood of your own car.

Before taking my company car to  Matt's CaddyShack for some serious engine work, I was concerned because a negative review left on this website by "Gabriela" in San Diego.
But I notice an overwhelming number of positive reviews by other previous customers so I drove into Matts CaddyShack without an appointment and was able to meet with Matt and ask him about this unhappy customer.
Matt had a look on his face that told me he has had to explain the situation with this past customer a thousand times and was willing to re-tell the story to me.
I have to say I truly laughed out loud when Matt explained who this customer was and what her particular, peculiar occupation was and what she offered to barter for mechanical services.
I had never heard anything like it lol and am better for hearing the "other side" of the story. 
I do feel sorry for Matt and his crew since they are victim to spiteful slander after the customers "biz proposition" was declined...
Please don't judge Matt's CaddyShack based upon Gabriela's fictional experience with the guys at MCS. 
Our company trusts the crew at MCS with our company cars and think it would be hard to find a more reliable auto repair shop in El Cajon.

It is a shame that a customer would bold face lie about matts caddyshack --a christian owned and operated repair facility. We have been in business for nine years and have 4 happy employees -many many satisfied customers. At the caddyshack we take pride in our work along with standing behind it for 12 months. I had a customer inform me about the false report just the other day -not knowing it had been there for three years. By the way it was filed at 1:30 am wow wonder why? I invite anybody to stop by and see Gabriellas work order ----not for 5000.00 not even half of that or a third.Its unfortunate that we as business owners run into this.I invite anybody to stop by and enjoy a friendly honest encounter of the caddyshack on us free oil change up to 5 quarts

I have taken multiple vehicles to Matt's Caddy Shack and have the had the exact opposite experience. The guys in this shop, especially Matt, fix cars that no one else can. If you had a bad experience and 10 of your friends have as well and the sum total of your explanation is that a dealer told you something I'd suspect that there's a more to the story than you know or are including. All mechanics share information especially when it comes to cars that have a reputation for having problems. The internet is great place to rant but if you're pissed off at men try a support group.
