This happened to my parents on their farm. These are carpetbaggers and scammers that drop in and use high pressure tactics to look for work. They use cheap paints, poor workmanship, and continually upsell, DO NOT CLEAN UP, and then vanish. They prey on old vulnerable people. They are complete scammers; within 10 minutes of agreeing to do the job, they start their work. They have no guarantees, obviously. They painted over windows and left left things half-finished.
Do not let them on your property. They are still in the area. They have no morals. You can read more about this type of farm scam by searching on the name Sherlock and painting farms. They seem to operate on the east coast and say that they are based in the Carolinas. You can't verify any of their claims.
