Complaint Review: Mattress Warehouse

Mattress Warehouse Purchased a King mattress set with box spring set, frame and head board. After having the set no more than 3 months the bed began to creak and squeak. It took them almost 2 months to finally get to me for a warranty claim. When they did get to me, they denied my claim. Burlington North Carolina

Purchased a mattress, box spring set, bed frame and headboard from Mattress warehouse on 2-11-09. On 5-20-09 I submitted a warranty claim. I had not heard from anyone for approximately 3 or 4 weeks. When I finally got through to a live person after being on hold for 2 hours they said that my claim was never received. I contacted the store directly and the salesman and district manager were able to get me some help. It wasn't until the first week of July that someone called me from Mattress Marshalls to ask to come look at the bed.

Someone came on 7-10-09 to inspect the mattress. He was here for less than 15 minutes. He inspected and took pictures. All while indicating to me that "his ears worked very well' and that indicated to me that he had heard the horrible squeaks in the mattress. He told me that he doesn't handle or make any decisions that it goes to the warranty location and THEY make the decision.

On 7-13-09 I received an e-mail with a PDF file attached stating that my claim was denied. Ileft several messages for the warranty department and no one got back to me.
