Maui Whitening SCAM! Email correspondence between dealers who have been SCAMMED purchasing a MAUI WHITENING DEALERSHIP! West Carollton Ohio
These are real emails from people who have been SCAMMED Purchasing a Maui Witening Dealership/Franchise! Email#1 The funniest thing happened to us today...us being the Maui Whitening Dealership located in **********. Nikki Swisher actually has an employee call us to say that we owed her money. Why is that funny you ask!? Well because our location has not received a teeth whitening kit since June 2015. 2 payments were taken from my account between May 29, 2015 and June 11, 2015, but no kit. I called and emailed both Jeff Zaret and Nikki Swisher, calls were not answered and their email accounts came back as inactive. I later found out that Jeff was no longer with the company. I then put a stop payment on my account. I called again and finally got an answer after days of calling and provided them with my new account info. But still no deduction and no kits. I sent another email stating that I wanted out at Maui Whitening, no answer. Finally I received a call today from a woman named Michelle. I explained to her that as of last month our location was out of kits because we had not received any since June and that we were closing shop. Her response was we owed payments for June to November and to send my lights back. My lights that I paid for ...WHY WOULD I DO THAT!! Why would I pay for kits I didn't receive...she said I was paying for using the Maui Whitening name!! They had the nerve to threaten me with reporting me to creditors. The audacity of these people. Are you kidding me!! I pray for continued success for those people that are doing well with this but those that aren't I pray that you get out!!! These people are money hungry, non responsive, unhelpful, selfish, unorganized, crazy, Christmas Grinches. Email #2 I am three months into Mau Whitening operations and i am operating at a loss. Others? Email#3. My name is ******** ******** my husband *****and I are the owners of Maui in CA. We purchased our Maui in Sept of 2015. We were forwarded a copy of an email you sent out about your experience with Nikki and the Maui brand. It sucks to say that we are now in the same boat and if I had received that email sooner we would have never purchased this failing salon. We are now having the same experience as you were , we have been in business for 3 months now and have not seen a profitable month yet. We are spending so much of our own money, that we don’t have, to keep this going. I just wanted to ask, how did you get out of it? Did you have to get a lawyer? I have contacted Nikki about our concerns and she does not seem to care. She said to call her at the office yesterday and we did, twice. She never returned our call. We were told by Joanne that she was in a meeting….for 2 hours. I’m afraid we might have to file for bankruptcy, which we have never done and I really don’t want to. Is there any way we can band together and fight this? It seems like all she cares about is the money and to be told to call her and then not even receive a call back……so wrong. I know another Maui has had the same experience when trying to contact her. You would think she would want all her Maui’s to succeed and would do everything in her power to help us out. Unfortunately that does not seem to be the case here. Her business practices are shady and misleading. If you have any info that can help, please let me know.
