Complaint Review: Maumee Antique Mall

I moved in the mall in early 2005 and at that time purchased a showcase from them that needed repair and the price reflected the repair and locks. I was promised at that time it would be done in a week and ready for me in the booth. It was a at least 4 weeks before I got it after asking and asking. The mall did not work out for us so the first part of November I talked to Carl the owner and told him I would be out the end of the month, he just said OK. I also asked him at that time if he would be interested in buying the showcase back and he said he could do that, EXACT words. Not one time did he mention I needed to give written notice or ask me if I had given written notice. When we came back the last weekend of November to move out, leaving three days till the end of the month, he then denied ever saying that he would buy the showcase leaving me no choice but to give it to a friend since he made me loose the only chance of selling it. We had emptied it early in the month so he could have it so he also denied me the right to use it till the end of the month and I sold a lot of jewelry out of it. Now he is saying I cannot have my check and still owe him nearly $20 because I did not give written notice. He lies and feels that stealing nearly $200 from a disabled person who relies on this money to live well I hope he chokes on it. DO NOT MOVE IN THIS MALL OR YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF TOO. If you do not believe me go look at all the empty booths, that tells the tale better than I could ever tell it. I have many people who know me and know I do not lie, does he!!!
