Complaint Review: Maureen Rushton

If you ever see the name Maureen Rushton from Midlothian, IL that is selling Bernese Mountain Dog puppies... STAY AWAY!

I have an almost 11 month old male pup that we got from Maureen in August, 2013. He was diagnosed with Bi-Lateral Hip Dysplasia and also deformed knee and ankle joints at the age of 8 months. I contacted Maureen to let her know that she is producing bad puppies and her answer to me was "I know there is hereditary issues with the mother and I am having her fixed." It took her weeks to respond to my email. She would not answer her phone.

My vet and the specialist in Buffalo Grove, IL confimed that his condition is hereditary and she tried saying it was not.

I have found 2 families through facebook that have his brothers and are having the same issues. I guarantee that all the pups from that litter have it. We are all spending an incredible amount of money to prolong our pups lives and this woman doesnt even care.

My poor pup has been through all the radio graphs to confirm his condition, acupunture, aqua therapy and also laser therapy.

She is only out for the money. These poor animals were living in horrible conditions. They were outside in the middle of summer under a tent. She would only feed them at about 5 am every day and that was it. My pup was so under weight when we took him to the vet the next day. People may say I am crazy for getting my dog from her but we saved him. Who knows what she would have done to them or what kind of family he would have went to. I am trying to give my dog the best life possible.

Please spread the word about this woman. She needs to stop putting these poor animals through all the pain she created.
